Water Marble Nails

I'm loving the water marble effect lately.  There are so many beautiful color combinations and designs that you can play with.  This was my first attempt.  I tried to play with the different designs that you can create.  This is why there isn't a full uniform look to the nails.  I wanted them each to be unique.

To begin, you will need your favorite nail colors, tape (to protect your skin and make for easier clean up), toothpicks and a small cup filled with water. Below is a little collage of the inspiration, the tools I used and a few pictures of the end result.
